As an MDW employer, you can get a concessionary rate of $60 per month if you meet the qualifying criteria.
Who can qualify
As an employer, you can qualify for levy concession if there is an eligible person living in your household.
Levy concession can only be granted for 1 helper per eligible person and is capped at 2 helpers per household. To qualify for levy concession for a second helper, there must be 2 eligible persons in your household.

- Is certified by a Singapore-registered doctor as requiring help with at least 1 activity of daily living (ADL), such as washing, feeding, dressing, moving or walking around, transferring from bed to chair and vice-versa, or toileting.
- Belongs to one of these groups:
- Singapore citizen
- Permanent resident who has a parent, spouse or child who is a Singapore citizen.

When all the conditions are met:
- Both the eligible person’s NRIC and your NRIC show the same address.
- The eligible person is listed as your household member on FDW eService.
- Apply with Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) and receive a recommendation letter from them.

When will the levy concession be reflected in your bill
When you have met the qualifying criteria and completed the required steps, levy concession will be automatically granted. You will see the following changes within your next 2 levy bills:
- The new, lower levy rate.
- Levy adjustments backdated to the date you completed the required steps.
Check why you were not granted levy concession
If you were not automatically granted the levy concession, you can submit a form to check why.
After completing the form, we will email you the outcome and next steps within 2 working days.
Home Caregiving Grant
If you hire a helper to take care of a family member who needs permanent assistance with
3 or more ADLs, you may qualify for the Home Caregiving Grant, a monthly grant of up to $400.
