Renew a Third-Party Inspection Agency registration

You can apply to renew your Third-Party Inspection Agency (TPIA) registration online. You only need to renew the licence for your head office. Renewal for a branch office is not required.

How to renew

  1. Log in to apply. Upload all supporting documents (see Documents required).
  2. (Optional) Log in to check your application status.

Documents required

For steam piping, you will need the following documents:

  • Letter stating that you want to renew your certificate and an update on any changes.
  • ISO 9001 certification or a set of the company’s quality assurance manual.
  • Inspection Body Accreditation certificate for ISO/IEC 17020 or equivalent certification.
  • Organisation chart of the branch office.
  • A list of approved inspectors employed by the company.
  • (For steam piping only) Business registration certificate from ACRA.

For Lifting Equipment, you will need the following documents:

  • Letter stating that you want to renew your certificate and an update on any changes.
  • Valid ISO 9001 certification.
  • A valid Inspection Body Accreditation Certificate to ISO/IEC 17020.
  • A list of approved inspectors employed by the company.
