If my company already provides some form of family or childcare leave to staff, does the employer still need to provide the enhanced 6 days of paid childcare leave on top of this?
Your company need not provide additional childcare leave if they already provided at least 6 days of paid leave per year for eligible employees to spend time with their children. The childcare leaves can be taken without any pre-conditions, such as producing a medical certificate for the child.
