No, you only need to verify the candidate’s qualifications once.
However, if you are applying for a candidate whose previous employer submitted a verification proof before 1 September 2023, you will need to resubmit the verification proof. You can do so by following the steps below:
- Ask the background screening company to reissue the verification proof with an MOM verification reference number. (Note: If they no longer have records of the verification proof, you will need to verify the candidate’s qualifications again.)
- Key in the MOM verification reference number in the Employment Pass application form.
- If the auto-populated institution name differs from what was previously declared, you should check that if it shows the institution’s most recent name. If it does not, contact MOM to address the discrepancy.
