Summary of MOM’s Responses to Key Feedback
The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) had invited members of the public to give feedback on the proposed amendments to the Employment of Foreign Manpower (EFMA) Act in May this year. The consultation exercise lasted for three weeks, from 10 May 2012 to 31 May 2012.
The public consultation exercise was followed by extensive discussions with key stakeholders in June and July 2012, including employers from the Singapore National Employers Federation and migrant worker non-government organisations.
