Upcoming Cluster Operations (COPS)
MOM will be conducting worksite inspections at and around southern part of Singapore
Operation Period: October 2012 to November 2012
The focus of the inspections will include checking on the following work activities and implementation of site workplan:
- Working at heights
- Safe use of equipment - Tower crane layout and operations, mobile cranes and elevated work platforms (e.g. scissors lifts)
- Safe means of access and egress
- Formwork safety
- Excavation safety
- Openings and open sides
- Roof works
- Fall prevention plan
- Permit to Work Systems
- Lifting Plan
- Risk Management

Contractors may also wish to procure the relevant Singapore Standards from SPRING Singapore for their reference such as Code of Practice for safety in trenches, pits and other excavated areas.
