To ask the Minister for Manpower what is the unemployment rate of Singaporeans and Singaporean permanent residents who are professionals, managers and executives from 2011 to 2015 broken down by age and gender.
Answer
The unemployment rates of residents in Professional, Managerial, Executive & Technical (PMET) occupations by age and gender, from 2011 – 2015, are provided in Table 1.

- Data are classified based on Singapore Standard Occupational Classification (SSOC) 2015. Data for past years which were coded based on earlier versions of the SSOC were mapped to SSOC 2015 as far as possible to facilitate data comparability. Hence the data for past years’ may differ from those provided previously.
