To ask the Minister for Manpower what is the number of former employment pass holders who have been subsequently granted an S Pass in each year since 2010.

The table below provides the number of former Employment Pass (EP) holders who were subsequently granted an S Pass from 2010 to 2021.

It is the employer’s decision which pass type they wish to apply for. Employers can choose to convert their EP holder to an S Pass based on their business needs. However, they will be subject to the prevailing S Pass qualifying salaries, quota and levies.
