To ask the Minister for Manpower in view of the vandalism of the Lunar New Year display at Nanyang Technological University, whether the Government will consider issuing guidelines on the use of official names for public holidays in public communications.

Answer:

The names of our public holidays are well established and understood. Therefore, there is no need for guidelines.
