To ask the Minister for Manpower for each year from 2021 to 2023, what is the number of cases that (i) went on appeal to the High Court after the Employment Claims Tribunal judgment was given and (ii) leave was not granted to appeal on the Employment Claims Tribunal judgment to the High Court.

Answer:

1.From Jan 2021 to Nov 2023, 74 appeals were filed with the Employment Claims Tribunals (ECT) for leave or permission to appeal to the High Court. Leave or permission to appeal was allowed in 4 cases.
