To ask the Minister for Manpower (a) from 2020 to 2023, what is the annual number of work injury claims under the Work Injury Compensation Act that were received by the Ministry for work-from-home injuries; and (b) of which, how many of these claims were (i) successful and (ii) unsuccessful, respectively.
Answer:
The Ministry of Manpower started tracking injuries sustained during work-from-home arrangements since the start of the Circuit Breaker period in April 2020. The number of work injury compensation claims received for such injuries from April 2020 to 2023 is at Table 1.
