Annual Meeting of the New Champions, “Summer Davos”, 26 – 28 September 2008, Tianjin, People’s Republic of China

Mr Gan Kim Yong, Acting Minister for Manpower, will be attending the Second Annual Meeting of the New Champions, “Summer Davos”, in Tianjin, People's Republic of China from 26 to 28 September 2008.

2.   This year's Annual Meeting of New Champions, organised by the World Economic Forum, brings together government and business leaders to discuss the implications of changing paradigms and new technologies on governments and the world economy.

3.   Mr Gan will hold bilateral meetings with Chinese government officials as well as Ministers from other countries at the sidelines of the event.
