Singapore bags first prize for the first time at the International Media Festival for Prevention (IMFP)

1. Singapore won three awards at the International Media Festival for Prevention (IMFP) at the XXI World Congress on Safety and Health at Work 2017. “Safety, Your World Your Life” picked up the first prize, and “Shoelaces” a special mention in the film category. “Safety and Health with George and Hazel” won for the multimedia category. All three entries were produced by the Workplace Safety and Health Council (WSHC).
2. This year, the IMFP received 235 submissions from 38 countries. Six winners - three first prizes and three special prizes – were given out for the film category and three prizes for multimedia category were selected.
3. Awards were given to media productions that had contributed to the improvement of safety and health at the workplace.
