If you hold a Personalised Employment Pass (PEP), find out about the mandatory annual notification and how to notify us of certain changes.
Declaring annual salary
As a PEP holder, you need to declare to MOM your annual salary by 31 January each year.
If your pass was issued on 31 December 2023 or before, you will need to submit your annual notification in 2025. New PEP holders whose passes were issued from 1 January 2024 will only be required to submit their notification in 2026.
If your PEP was issued on:
- 1 May 2023, you need to declare your annual salary for 2024 by 31 January 2025.
- 1 September 2024, you need to declare your annual salary for 2024 by 31 January 2026.
If you are required to declare your annual salary in the upcoming exercise, you will receive our email notification. Please ensure that you submit your annual notification promptly, otherwise your PEP status may be affected.

How to calculate you fixed annual salary for the declaration
Fixed annual salary = fixed monthly salary × number of months worked in the calendar year.
You worked with Company A from 1 January 2023 to 30 April 2023, earning a fixed monthly salary of $22,500. You were unemployed for 2 months and started employment with Company B from 1 July 2023 to 31 December 2023, earning a fixed monthly salary of $30,000.
Your fixed annual salary earned is:
Company |
Fixed monthly salary |
Months worked |
Fixed annual salary |
A |
$22,500 |
4 |
$22,500 x 4 = $90,000 |
B |
$30,000 |
6 |
$30,000 x 6 = $180,000 |
Total fixed annual salary earned for Year 2024 = $90,000 + $180,000 = $270,000
If you no longer meet the
requirements, you will need to cancel your PEP.
