What can I do in PW Portal?Show
Employees can check their salary and find out if their employers are paying them according to the Progressive Wage Model (PWM) or Local Qualifying Salary (LQS) requirements.
Who can use the PW Portal?Show
Singapore citizens or permanent residents can use the PW Portal if you are:
- Covered under the PWM, or
- Working in a company that hires foreign employees on a Work Permit, S Pass or Employment Pass.
If you work in these jobs and occupations, you may be covered under the PWM. Find out more about your job roles and entitlements:
- Cleaners
- Security officers
- Landscape maintenance
- Lift and escalator maintenance
- Retail workers (including cashiers)
- Food service workers
- Waste management workers
- Administrators or Drivers
If your company hires foreign employees on a Work Permit, S Pass or Employment Pass, you may be covered by the Local Qualifying Salary (LQS).
What do I need to log in?Show
You need a Singpass account. Apply for a Singpass account if you don't have one.
Must I use my Singpass to log in?Show
Yes, you need to use Singpass to log in.
This is because the PW Portal shows your personal information, such as your salary. Singpass helps us confirm that it is really you who’s accessing the information, so we can protect your privacy.
How do I check my salary requirements?Show
After you log in, you will see your PWM job level, details of your job role and salary information.
- The orange tile titled "Your Salary" shows your salary for the month.
- The blue tile titled "Minimum Salary for your job" shows the minimum salary that you should be paid.
If you are in a job role covered by PWM
Your employer must pay you at least the amount in the blue tile.
If your salary amount in the orange tile is less than the amount in the blue tile, your employer may not be paying you the correct salary. You should check with your employer and ask them to pay you the correct salary.

If you are not covered by PWM
If you are not covered by PWM but are in a company that hires foreign employees, your employer must pay you at least the LQS.
If you see the page below, your employer may not be paying you the correct salary, which is at least the LQS. You should check with your employer and ask them to pay you the correct salary.
My salary or job information is wrong. What should I do?Show
Incorrect salary information
The orange tile titled “Your Salary” shows your salary for the month, based on data from CPF. If the salary in the orange tile is not correct, you should check with your employer on the reasons, or ask them to pay you the correct salary.
Incorrect job information
If the details of your PWM job level or your job role is not correct, you should check with your employer. Your employer may need to tag you to the correct job role in the Occupational Employment Dataset.

My salary is lower than the lowest salary shown in the PW Portal. What should I do?Show
If your salary amount in the orange tile is less than the amount in the blue tile, your employer may not be paying you the correct salary.
You should check with your employer and ask them to pay you the correct salary.

The PW Portal says my job role is not covered. What should be my salary? Show
Check if you are in a job role covered by PWM.
If your job role is not covered under PWM, there is no minimum salary requirement for your job. Your salary is decided by the agreement between you and your employer.
If your job role is covered under PWM, but the PW Portal says that your job is not covered, you should check with your employer. Your employer may need to tag you to the correct job role in the Occupational Employment Dataset.

The PW Portal does not have my job records. What should I do?Show
If you are currently working, you should check with your employer. Your employer may need to tag you to the correct job role in the Occupational Employment Dataset.

How do I know what is the minimum salary I should get if I worked overtime?Show
You can type the number of overtime hours you worked in the blue box and click "Check". The minimum salary shown in the blue tile will show you the minimum salary for a full-time worker for your job including overtime pay. It will also show you the minimum hourly rate for a part-time worker.
