New Services for your Convenience
With the relocation to MOM Services Centre - Hall C, MOM’s services have also been redesigned to streamline the registration process, improve efficiency and productivity, and provide customers with greater convenience. The new services include:
- Online submission of documents (available on and after 6 June 2013)
Customers will be able to submit documents during pass issuance or renewal through Work Permit Online (WPOL) or Employment Pass Online (EPOL). They do not have to bring documents to MOM for verification; saving them a trip to the centre for non-reporting cases (see conditions below). It will also shorten the waiting and transaction time of pass holders during registration.
Conditions for this service:
- The online submission of documents will initially be available for non-reporting cases only. It will be extended to reporting cases at a later phase.
- Reporting cases (e.g. issuance of new pass) refer to cases where pass holders are required to report for card registration.
- Non-Reporting cases (e.g. renewal of pass) refer to cases where pass holders are not required to report for card registration.
(Please refer to the summary steps below for more details.)
- Service by appointments only (on and after 6 June 2013)
Services at MOM Services Centre - Hall C are available strictly by appointment. Customers have to make an appointment online for reporting cases before the pass holder visits MOM Services Centre - Hall C for card registration. This will improve centre operations and shorten the waiting time of the pass holders.
- Delivery of cards to customers (available on and after 6 June 2013)
The delivery of work pass or long term pass cards will also be made available for passes issued or renewed on and after 6 June 2013. This means that pass holders who are issued cards for the first time will need to visit MOM Services Centre - Hall C only once for card registration. The cards will be delivered four working days later. For renewal cases, the cards will be delivered four working days later after the documents received online have been verified successfully.
- One-stop card registration (available on and after 10 June 2013)
The one-stop service will capture pass holders’ photos and fingerprints on the spot. There will no longer be a need to submit a photo during registration.
These new services will be extended to the Employment Pass Services Centre (EPSC) for EP holders in the third quarter of 2013. The EPSC will remain at its current location at The Riverwalk.
