Cancel a Work Permit for confinement nanny

You must cancel your confinement nanny's Work Permit if she no longer works for you.

At a glance

When to cancel the Work Permit

Within 1 week from the day the pass holder leaves Singapore.

You do not need to cancel the pass if it has expired.

As long as the pass holder is still in Singapore, you need to extend her visit pass to give her a valid stay in the meantime. Otherwise, an overstaying fine will be imposed.

Who can cancel

Employer or employment agent

Additional step for employment agencies: You need to get the employer’s authorisation using our FDW eService before you can perform any transactions for them. For more details, refer to our FAQs and infographic.
